Christian has spent most of his career in business management in Asia and has been involved in Microfinance since 2005.

He is the co-founder of BOPA and passionate about helping smaller responsible MFI’s getting access to equity and grow efficiently. He has visited personally more than 50 MFIs in Asia in the search of the best equity portfolio partners for BOPA.

Christian has a MBA from IMD in Switzerland, is a World Bank and Asia Development Bank certified Microfinance Trainer of Trainers (MFTOT – with distinction) and has participated in several workshops and trainings at the Boulder Institute of Microfinance, BRAC and CGAP
